Digital electronics is the study of electronic circuits that are used to process and control digital signals. In contrast to analog electronics, where information is represented by a continuously varying voltage, digital signals are represented by two discrete voltages, or logic levels. In the digital electronics lab, there are 31 trainer kits, 16 digital storage oscilloscopes, 20 function generators, 20 dual power supply ICs are available. Laboratory experiments in digital electronics include the study of various logic gates, flip-flops, and counters. We focus on employing a learn-by-doing approach and emphasizing hands-on experimental experience.
A linear integrated circuit (linear IC) is a solid-state analog device characterized by a theoretically infinite number of possible operating states. Power control, clock circuits, and memory management are the areas where linear circuits are needed in digital systems. 16 digital storage oscilloscopes, 20 function generators, 20 dual power supply op-amp ICs, and various ICs are available which are being used for circuit design. The best-known and most common linear IC is the operational amplifier, or op amp, which consists of resistors, diodes, and transistors in a conventional analog circuit.
Circuit analysis is the process of finding all the current and voltages in a network of connected components. In electronics, a circuit is a complete circular path that electricity flows through. A simple circuit consists of a current source, conductors, and a load. This basic lab is to find current and voltage calculations with the help of an ammeter and a voltmeter under the basic theorems such as thevinin, Norton, the superposition theorem, and so on. In this lab, there are 25 digital storage oscilloscopes, 20 function generators, transistors, FETs, various diodes, resistors, capacitors etc.
The Intel 8085 microprocessor is an NMOS 8-bit device. It has a 16- bit address bus and an 8-bit data bus. The total addressable memory size of 8085 microprocessor is 64 KB. It has a set of registers that contribute to the effective and efficient working of the microprocessor. In Microprocessors and Microcontroller lab there are 15 Nos. 8085 microprocessor kits, 15 Nos. 8086 microprocessor kits, 15 Nos. 8051 microcontroller kits, 5 Nos. ADC interface board, 5 Nos. DAC interface board, 5 Nos. Traffic light controller interface board, 5 Nos.Stepper Motor Interface Board etc. We focus on employing a learn-by-doing approach and emphasizing the hands-on experimental experience.
Advanced communications are enabling dramatic changes in how consumers, manufacturers, governments, and others provide and consume information, transact business, provide and use essential services, and shop among other tasks. They enhance wireless technologies, giving higher speeds, better connectivity and more pervasive access to communication systems. In advanced communication laboratory there are 5 Nos.
