College Grand Fest - Invictus 2K24
The College Grand Fest for the academic year 2023-2024 was enthusiastically celebrated on 04th May 2024 at SSEC campus. Dr. C. Sylendra Babu, IPS (Retd.), Former DGP/ Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu had been invited as the Chief Guest. In the esteemed presence of the respected Chairman, Shri. N. Dharmalingam; dignified Correspondent, Dr. S. Karthikeyan; distinguished Principal, Dr. G. Jayaprakash; dynamic CEO, Dr. N. Prasannan; energetic Dean, Prof. P. Malarvizhi and with 12 eminent Awardees the grand occasion started holistically with divine hymns followed by Lamp lit ceremony.
At the outset, Dr. G. Jayaprakash, Principal presented the Annual Report showcasing the laurels acquired in academics, all Engineering and Diploma departments' success stories, and curricular, co-curricular & extra-curricular activities of students and faculty members during the academic year 2023-24. The Annual Magazine got successfully released by the Chief Guest. The Chief guest in his special address, shared his ideas on promoting student fraternity, futuristic scope for the younger generation in their careers, demands of globalization and the importance of professional skill development.
Distribution of awards to the SSEC achievers especially the Best HOD, Faculty and Student awards was a remarkable and the most thrilled event wholly expected by SSEC faculty and students. This event became the top notch of all and a memorable record registered in SSEC history. The fun-filled session started in the afternoon with the melodious song performance by Ms. V.M. Shreenitha and a queue of mega cultural events decorated the entire stage with the powerpacked SSEC dancers and singers that sparkled the atmosphere with vibrant lights and pep music. Around 30+ stunning dance performances and songs were wonderfully performed by SSEC students. Certificates and gifts were presented to the winners of the competitions. The College Grand Fest came to a beautiful end with delicious dinner feast to the entire SSEC family.
