78th Independence Day Celebration: Celebrating Freedom and Progress

On 15th August 2024, we celebrated the “78th Independence Day Celebration: Celebrating Freedom and Progress” with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebration was graced by the presence of our honourable Chairman Shri N. Dharmalingam, along with our Esteemed Correspondent Dr. S. Karthikeyan, joined by our distinguished Principal Dr. G. Jayaprakash, and beloved Dean Prof. P. Malarvizhi. Heads of various departments, Staff members and Diploma Students also joined the celebration. The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by our honorable Chairman Shri N. Dharmalingam accomplished by the singing of the flag song. The entire gathering stood in reverence as the flag fluttered in the wind, symbolizing the freedom and sovereignty of our nation. In addition to this, our Noble Correspondent Dr. S. Karthikeyan delivered an inspiring speech, reflecting on the sacrifices and the importance of upholding the values of unity, diversity and patriotism. The event continued with the Speech of our distinguished Principal Dr. G. Jayaprakash, who emphasized the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by our beloved Dean, Prof .P. Malarvizhi, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a success. The event ended with National anthem and followed by the distribution of sweets adding to the joyous atmosphere. The overall Celebration was a memorable occasion that instilled a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment to the nation among all participants.
