One Day Technical Symposium – Inter O Fest 2k25
The Inter O Fest 2K25 - National Level Technical Symposium, organized by Sree Sakthi Engineering College, was a grand success, bringing together students across the nation to explore the latest advancements in technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. In addition to the symposium, a National Level Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted.
The Inaugural Session of Inter O Fest 2K25 was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Respected Chairman Shri N. Dharmalingam, Dignified Correspondent Dr. S. Karthikeyan, Distinguished Principal Dr. G. Jayaprakash, Esteemed CEO Dr. N. Prasannan, Beloved Dean Prof. P. Malarvizhli, and Guest of Honour Mr. S. Sarath Chandar, General Manager - HR at Vaken Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Chennai. The ceremony began with a Prayer Song, setting a reflective and positive tone for the day. The dignitaries then lighted the lamp, symbolizing the official start of the symposium and marking the beginning of a day filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration. Their presence added great significance to the occasion, inspiring all participants to engage wholeheartedly in the activities of the day. Following the lighting of the lamp, Prof. P. Malarvizhli, Dean of the College, delivered the Welcome Address, extending a warm welcome to everyone present at the event. Dr. G. Jayaprakash, the Principal, inspired students in his address to leverage platforms like Inter O Fest to enhance their knowledge and skills. Dr. S. Karthikeyan, the Correspondent, expressed strong support for the symposium, emphasizing its significance in nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders. The Guest of Honour, Mr. S. Sarath Chandar, discussed the growing importance of HR in technology companies and the critical role of innovation in shaping the future of the industry, encouraging students to think creatively and confidently embrace challenges. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. N. Prasannan, CEO of Sree Sakthi Engineering College, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, faculty, and volunteers for their contributions to the event’s success.
A key highlight of the event was the National Level Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, designed to deepen participants' understanding of AI concepts, techniques, and applications. The workshop covered a broad spectrum of topics, including an Introduction to AI, AI Algorithms & Models, and AI’s role in Industry. The energy of the day was set by a lively Flashmob performed by students, followed by the release of department banners.
The event featured a variety of competitions across different departments, including Paper Presentation, the Robot Design Contest, E-Bike Contest, Technical Talks, and the Smart India Hackathon. Fun and interactive activities like Karaoke Singing and the Connection Event gave participants a chance to unwind and engage in team-building exercises. Other events included the Short Film Contest, showcasing students' filmmaking talents, and Brushless Painting & Creative Photography, which explored the fusion of art and technology. The Ad Venture Zone offered a platform for students to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas, while the Second Round of Paper Presentation saw top performers from the first round competing for the highest honours. The diverse range of events ensured a dynamic and enriching experience for all participants.
The event culminated with the Valedictory Session and Prize Distribution. Prizes and medals were awarded to the top three winners in each event. Special prizes included a LED TV for the overall Paper Presentation winner, a Smartphone for the Smart India Hackathon winner, a Tablet for the E-Bike Contest winner, a Smart Watch for the Robot Design Contest winner, and Ear Pods for the Technical Talk winner. Each winner received their respective awards, medals, and certificates in recognition of their hard work and achievements. The event concluded with the National Anthem, uniting all participants in a spirit of pride and accomplishment.
