Achievers Day and New Year Celebration
The Achievers Day and New Year Celebration at Sree Sakthi Engineering College, Karamadai commenced at 6:00 PM in the presence of distinguished and revered dignitaries, including our respected Chairman Shri N. Dharmalingam, our visionary Correspondent Dr. S. Karthikeyan, our esteemed Secretary Smt. K. Punithavalli, our dedicated Principal Dr. G. Jayaprakash, our proactive Joint Correspondent Mr. K. Akilesh, our renowned CEO Dr. N. Prasannan and our dynamic Dean Prof.P.Malarvizhi. Their presence added immense value to the occasion, making it even more special and memorable.
The program began with a soulful Prayer Song, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the spread of knowledge and the commencement of the celebrations. Prof. P. Malarvizhi, the esteemed Dean, delivered the Welcome Address, acknowledging the achievements of the college and setting an inspiring tone for the evening.
This was followed by speeches from the dignitaries. Dr. S. Karthikeyan, the Correspondent, highlighted the mission to be accomplished in the upcoming year, urging students and faculty to focus on new opportunities, innovations, and continued excellence. His speech emphasized the importance of collaboration, hard work, and determination to achieve greater heights in the coming year. Dr. G. Jayaprakash, the Principal, shared insights on the college’s growth and future, stressing the value of holistic development, while Dr. N. Prasannan, the CEO, outlined the college's forward-thinking vision, highlighting the role of innovation and teamwork.
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the achievers for the academic year 2024-2025 (Odd Semesters). Dr. N. Prasannan, the CEO, called out the names of the top-performing students and faculty members, who were honoured with gifts and accolades by the dignitaries for their exceptional contributions in Academics and Research. The formal proceedings concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. S. Vijayashanthy, HOD of Science & Humanities, who expressed sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
Afterward, the evening continued with vibrant dance performances and engaging fun events, creating a lively atmosphere. A grand feast was organized by the management, and the festivities continued with a DJ session and campfire. As midnight approached, the entire college community gathered for the eagerly awaited New Year Countdown. At 12:00 AM, the crackers welcomed the arrival of 2025, and the New Year cake was cut by the dignitaries. The cakes were then shared and distributed among the students, marking the joyous beginning of the new year. The night concluded with jubilant celebrations, making it a memorable occasion for everyone present.
